Our nearest main train station is Winchester, approximately 7 miles away. From nearby Alton, you can ride on the beautiful Watercress Steam Railway straight into Alresford.
Local Attractions
The town of Alresford boasts some great walking routes, including the Alresford Millennium Trail and Riverside Walk.
There’s plenty to see and do on your way round town too, with Old Alresford Pond, Fulling Mill and Hinton Ampner House and Garden just some of the places of interest.
Alresford is also home to one end of the beautiful Watercress Steam Railway, which runs between the town and its nearby neighbour, Alton.
